Easter Novena Prayer – Simple 9-Day Devotion

Easter Novena Prayer – Resurrection of Jesus

The Easter Novena is a simple nine-day devotional prayer centered on the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and His victory over sin and death. Traditionally, many Catholics pray it beginning on Good Friday and continuing until the eve of Divine Mercy Sunday, meditating on the victory of Christ over sin and death.

How to Pray the Easter Novena

April 3 – April 11, 2026

This novena consists of a simple prayer repeated each day for nine consecutive days. If time permits, you may also add three Hail Marys, or pray five times the Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be. What matters most is to pray with attention, faith, and devotion.

Prayer

O Divine Savior,
who rose from the dead on that first glorious Easter morn,
grant that I may rise from my sins
and so live as to see You,
glorious and immortal, in heaven.
Lord, I am nothing,
but, although nothing, I adore You.

Five Our Fathers, five Hail Marys, and five Glory Be.
