Saint Faustina Kowalska was chosen by Jesus to bring His message of Divine Mercy to the world. She knew suffering, doubt, and illness — and she trusted through all of it. If you are carrying something that feels too heavy, too broken, or too far gone, this prayer to Saint Faustina can help you place your trust in the Heart of Jesus.
Who Is Saint Faustina Kowalska?
Born in 1905 in rural Poland, Helena Kowalska entered religious life at 20 and took the name Maria Faustina. Between 1931 and 1938, she received visions of Jesus who called her to be the “secretary of His mercy” — recording His words in what became the famous Diary of Saint Faustina. Through her, Jesus gave the world the Divine Mercy image, the Chaplet, the Novena, and the Feast of Divine Mercy. She died of tuberculosis at just 33, was canonized in 2000 by Pope John Paul II, and is now invoked by millions who trust in God’s infinite mercy. Her feast day is October 5.
